What are You Doing New Year's Day?

I will be in Buffalo, New York watching the Penguins/Sabres game.

At Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Outside.

In Buffalo.

On New Year's Day.

Which means instead of our annual New Year's Eve dinner, a group of us will be piling into a car to drive to Buffalo. One of our friends already booked two rooms at a nearby hotel.

  1. I hear Buffalo is nice that time of year. Very balmy.

  2. Sounds fun, Jenn! Ah, I miss the cold days of football in Illinois, which I am sure do not even remotely compare in coldness to Buffalo on New Year's Day. Bring the hot chocolate. And blankets. And scarves.

  3. JD - Why yes, it is quite balmy in Buffalo in January!

Lisa - I'm all ready shopping for thermal underwear. I'm no stranger to that kind of cold - I did my undergraduate degree in Erie, PA. But I was also 18 then, and you don't really feel the cold as much at 18 as you do at 34.
