To discover whether the usual right-wing suspects get into an uproar over last night's episode of Scrubs in which a very pregnant Jordan tells J.D and Kim that she had an abortion at the age of 19. And says she did not regret it. And is matter-of-fact about it. Then goes back to cuddling her son.
Just a thought.
FYI - I just became hooked on the show several weeks ago and have been catching up by watching the re-runs on Comedy Central.
They're too busy being totally outrages at Mary Cheney's being pregnant.

Thumpers, get your moral guidance from Jesus Christ and St. Paul, and just ignore prime-time TV -- it's supposed to be entertainment, for Jeffrey Zucker's sake! Render unto Caesar, be in the world but not of the world, and all that....
FWIW, I've known four women who've had abortions, all four as teens. One was mostly OK with it but copped to some wistfulness, one felt pretty fscking awful six years on, one was pretty offhand and matter-of-fact about it (diff culture, tho -- she's European) and one had been twisted so badly already that it was hard to tell whether it had made any add'l impact.
Oh, and...ever notice how few women are anti-abortion activists? Why's it always guys with the big power trip?
